Tabea Kaltenbach majored in Social Work (B.A.) at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany. Subsequently, she began a second major in Psychology at Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, Germany. In 2013, she worked at the Akrofi-Christaller-Institute in Akropong, Ghana for one year and graduated in Psychology (M.Sc.) upon her return the following year. For her masters thesis, Tabea conducted research about cultural influences on emotion regulation by comparing Ghanaian and German study participants. During her studies, she further gained diverse working experience by doing multiple internships in the field of psychological counselling as well as working for global companies. Tabea is a founding member of Raumgeschichten e.V. and participated in the team’s workshop in Ghana in 2015. Currently, she works as a psychologist at the Federal Employment Agency in Mainz, Germany.
